Terms of service

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of BloxIQ's website, web application, API and browser extension (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you can bind that organisation.

BloxIQ is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. "Roblox" is a trademark of Roblox Corporation.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
• Provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Never share your Roblox password or cookies with BloxIQ or anyone claiming to represent us. We will never ask for them.

3. The Service

BloxIQ provides research tools based on public observations of Roblox experiences, optional data you connect or import about your own games, and AI-assisted features where configured.

• Data is observational. Statistics reflect what we collected at the times shown. They may be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and are not official Roblox figures. See our methodology and disclaimer.
• No guarantees of outcomes. Scores, rankings, ideas and AI output are research aids. They do not predict or guarantee players, revenue or platform ranking.
• Features may change. We may add, change or remove features. Some features require configuration (for example an AI provider) and may be unavailable.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download or resell data from the Service, or circumvent rate limits, quotas or plan restrictions;
• use the Service to harass, profile or target individuals, including Roblox players or creators;
• attempt to access other users' data or our systems without authorisation, or interfere with the Service's operation;
• upload content you don't have rights to, or that is unlawful, infringing or harmful;
• use BloxIQ to create games or content that infringe others' intellectual property, or to violate Roblox's terms of use or community standards;
• use AI features to generate content that is deceptive, harmful or that clones a specific existing game;
• reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit (notes, ideas, drafts, uploads, imports). You grant us a licence to host, process and display it solely to provide the Service to you and your workspace. We do not use your private content or owner data on public pages or to train AI models.

6. AI-generated output

AI output is generated automatically, may be inaccurate, and is labelled as AI-generated. You are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it. To the extent we have rights in the output, we assign them to you, but similar output may be generated for others.

7. Plans, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. Prices are shown before purchase and are illustrative and configurable during early release; the price at checkout applies.
• Taxes: where Stripe Tax is configured, applicable VAT or sales tax is calculated at checkout. Otherwise prices exclude taxes you may owe locally.
• Plan limits and credits are described on the pricing page and enforced by our servers. There are no automatic overage charges.
• You can cancel at any time in Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law or stated at checkout, payments are non-refundable, but contact us if something went wrong.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example Roblox's public endpoints and OAuth, Stripe, an AI provider). Their availability and terms are outside our control. If a third party restricts access, related features may stop working.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and original content, belongs to BloxIQ and its licensors. Game names, icons and other content shown from Roblox belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification and research.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BloxIQ is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability arising from the Service in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period (or £50 if you paid nothing). We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice and a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees where we discontinue).

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and notify signed-in users of material changes in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. (To be confirmed in legal review.)
